- Had an email back. This little girl is called Molly and thanks to the finder putting up posters, she is now back with her family.

- Yes all the correct procedures have already been followed. I don't know whether it is just Wales or Wales & England, but since April 2008 the police have had no responsibility over stray dogs here, it is now just the Dog Warden's duty. As mentioned in the post there was no microchip found by the scanner. The post is deliberately sparce because the area it was found in is relatively small and community-minded, plus it doesn't look like the dog had been missing long, so if someone sees "dog found" in CH6 they can call me and I can make sure the dog is really theirs. - with all the people desperately hunting for their dogs, thats not a very hellpful description above! have they taken it to vets to be scanned??
