"help needed,my 14 year old border collie x has gone missing this morning 09/01/12) in smithy woods(back of eldertree road, thorpe hesley,jct35 m1) i have contacted all relevent people police wardens kennels councils etc. and nobody has seen her, shes been missing since 645 this morning.my partner was walking both dogs,(we also have a 7 month old dog)and just 200meters from our back gate shes vanished they do the same route 3 times a day which is why im now really concerned,as she is 14yrs old deaf and partially blind, she is quite skinny now and full of lumps and bumps but shes a very happy well looked after lady, she is black and white with greying around the face area,if you see her you have to get her attention by standing in her central vision as she cannot see either sides and kneeling down to coax her to you(she very timid) please please please if you live in the area can you check in your back gardens as when she gets scared she finds hidey holes. contact me immedieately if you even think youve seen her its lisa 07850208447 or john 07766055126 she is very very sorely missed by the whole family as after 14yrs she is part of the family thanks for reading." - 2012-01-09 22:45 Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
- So sorry to see that Goosey is missing. Please keep returning to the field she has gone missing in as she may trace her way back there by scent. Try to alert as many local people as you can and if you havent already done so please ring the dog wardens, local stray kennels and local vets as soon as you can in the morning. If possible can you please get a photo of Goosey to us ASAP. The admin post below explains how to do this. I must stress this is important as once we have a photo of Goosey on her page we can send out poster alerts to everyone registered with us in your local post codes. I will call you in the morning as a bit too late to call now. Hoping she is found very soon xxLast edited: 2012-01-09 22:51:08 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- Sorry to see that GOOSEY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36098)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
