Tracy, this is why you have to keep on at these people, they forget or sadly, sometimes are just plain lazy. Keep going! Sounds possible Daisy could have been stolen from your garden, if you know she cannot get out otherwise. This means you must make police give you a CRIME number not an incident number. They may need to check your garden themselves just to prove she couldn't have got out on her own. If you know she couldn't, then you need to assume stolen. This is why you have to badger police for a CRN number. They need to work and find her with you. Do you know of any travellers on your area or close by? Please poster around there heavily. This is a possibility as we've had a couple found at sites recently in Essex. Call if you need help. If she was found by someone even if petlog hasn't registered Daisy on system yet, if she gets scanned they should still see a chip so know that she is owned. The council should tell you what kennels they use so you can go and give them a poster. There is no reason to keep this a secret. Please look again at the e-mails I sent you and think about who may have your dog. You are doing well! x

I reported Daisy missing to Vets Now and the woman 4got 2 put the details in their book???
When I phoned the next day 4 news I wasnt impressed and that woman said she will put them in the book!!

Tendring council refuse 2 divulge which kennels they take found dogs 2, y I dont understand that policy?
Colchester, Babergh, Ipswich councils take dogs 2 West End Farm Kennels, Stowmarket. No1 knows of a cavalier.
Daisy was microchipped on 4th December and went missing on 16th December, petlog has an input 2 their system delay of a few weeks so mayb a vet or some1 did try 2 find me and petlog lost Daisy in their inputting system delay??? I just cant think of another reason, as dogs dont vanish in2 thin air not found injured dead or alive??

I insisted police give me an incident no. They did but whenever u phone police with a lost found or stolen dog they refer u 2 dog warden so even if some1 did phone police, the police would have turned them away anyway.
Dog wardens have not had a cavalier for a long time apparently.

I just find it incredible that some1 has kept my Daisy.
She is microchipped and wore a collar and ID tag.
It's obvious she was a family pet.

Have you put loads of posters up etc, I lost/found Patch in Wrabness in December and the communities within 5 miles were absolutely brilliant keeping an eye out and contacting with info. Ardleigh is not far from me so will keep my eyes and ears peeled. Don't give up, what ever you do. x

I travel from Highwoods along harts lane to Maltings Farm lane and then from there to Ardleigh early every morning so i am keeping my eyes peeled for Daisy. I do hope she comes home soon.

I am so sorry to hear your little dog has gone missing. I have put her details on my facebook page. I live in Lexden so not that far away really. If you are on facebook, have you set up a page for Daisy? There have bee some excellent success stories of lost dogs being found that way :)

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36122)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
