- It does seem to be with the information the owner has. He will be calling me today to confirm, and from there we can change Jenny's status. Sensitive issue and I don't want to be harrassing people.

- Sadly - 35766 may be one and the same after talking to the owner. Will update ASAP.The brown and white colour of the found dog, made me think it could not have been Jenny, but, after contacting the finder today, just to double check the colour of the found dog, he thought it may have been Jenny after all. It was very thoughtful to add the poor dog who was in the RTA to the site, and it has been a great help. The colour of collar on the dog matches the one Jenny was wearing..

- Sorry it may be bad news, but I believe this may be the same dog:
http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=35766
I said brown and white, but I only saw the dog mainly by car headlights, so could have
mistaken black with some greying for brown. The dog was wrapped in a blanket kindly donated by a passing motorist by the time the police arrived with torches.
The police should have an incident report, probably Inverurie branch, approx. time 6pm on December 26th. - 2012-01-14 18:21 Aileen

- Joolspin, most likely to be a local dog in a small village like Tarves.
- 2012-01-12 10:09 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- email alerts sent out to local helpers.
- 2012-01-12 09:44 Joolspin
- I spotted a border collie when I drove through Tarves this morning, it was right in the centre of the village so may have been a village dog but I didn't see anyone with the dog although it was still very dark at 7.15am.
