Chester has been found and now recovered. We were contacted today about 11am and recovered Chester fit and well (fed) near Stokenchurch. He was apparently found over the weekend near by. We suspect he had been dumped/released locally no doubt following the search campaign. Thank you to all.

Could the person who picked him up have taken him to the vet for a check up if he was thrown from a pick up. Will local vets tell you if they have registered any new choc labs in the last few days.

Ive had a report in today of possibly Chester being thrown from a RED PICK UP along the nuffield road .The dog ran along the woods following this pick up THIS WAS NOT HIS OWNER!there were a few cars following and a lady in a white/silver people carrier was seen to pick up the dog,she possibly lives in WOODCOTE .THE PICK UP WAS FOLLOWED BUT SPED OFF AND TURNED TOWARDS CHECKENDON...This all fits in with the time when Chester went missing.Im going to do a bit more digging but have advised owner what to do and will update here if I find out more.

Scenting Instructions sent to owner...no sightings today.you need lots of posters up in the area thats when you will get sightings phoned in.

Thanks Jayne have spoken to owners and will email advice now.Chester knows the area well so hopefully he will take him self home a way has been left open for him to do so.Fingers crossed.
