- Oh how very sad. Owners, as digbysmum said, sometimes dogs need to go quietly off by themselves. I suspect Bungee knew he had to go to heaven, but couldn't leave whilst you were there as it would have been too hard. So very sad for you though. Bungee is safe now and will wait for you, when the time is right, and you will be reunited again - this time forever! God bless you and Bungee. x

- So very, very sorry to hear about Bungee - RIP sweetheart xx

- This is so tragic - I am so very sorry. My thoughts are with you Pam at this very distressing time. I strongly believe that animals have a sixth sense, and that when their life is coming to an end they will take themselves off somewhere, and go to sleep. Bungee had a long happy life, knowing that he was loved. Run free at the bridge, dear little Bungee xx

- My sympathy goes to Bungee`s family. Bungee is young again and playing at the bridge with his friends. I think God called him and made him an Angel in Heaven. Until you meet him again. And you will. Night, night, sleep tight and please watch over your owners. Sweet dreams RIP. Sending your family healing thoughts for their sadness in losing you. And loads of comforting hughs from me. God Bless

- I am so sorry to hear the tragic news about Bungee. As the owner of a border terrier who is almost 17 years old, I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to lose one in such sad circumstances. Run free little Bungee and chase rabbits again.

- Sadly I have to say I have Bungee's body. He was found dead in a ditch not far from home. I have walked past there several times in the last few days but apparently he was well tucked in. Thank you for all your help & support, it really means so much. Pam

- It was the Falcon Inn at Pulham Market. I did manage to get hold of the person on their mobile who found the dog but unfortunately it wasn't my dog. The dog she found was a setter & has now been returned to its owners

- You've probably gone to bed by now... But which pub was it?x
- 2012-01-18 20:47 Koala_Pam
- I've just inadvertently reported my last comment. I didn't mean to, sorry!!
- 2012-01-18 20:31 Koala_Pam
- I've just had several text messages from someone who said they saw a picture of my dog on a facebook profile. This dog was found on the A140 on Monday so it could well be my dog. Unfortunately the mobile number Ive been given is apparently switched off. The pub where the woman who found it works has a phone number listed on facebook but whenever I try to phone it tells me it is an incorrect number. I am so frustrated. Other than take a drive over there I won't know until I can contact someone. I have been in bed on & off all day as I haven't been feeling well so I'd rather speak to someone if possible first. Has anyone got any ideas? PamLast edited: 2012-01-18 21:24:55 by Angus

- Thank you all so much, this means so much to me. Bungee was my huband's dog; my husband died nearly 3 years ago, and he is my last real tie with my husband. Unfortunately my internet wouldn't let me on yesterday & now my printer is not working. So a huge thanks to all who have put posters up for me & have spoken to the post lady. Also a huge thanks to all of you who continue to look for Bungee for me. Pam

- I have spoken to the owner and Bungee wandered off from home, he has been unwell recently and off his food, owner has been out searching the area taking her other dogs with her. The Dog Warden has been notified. Owner is sorting out a photo for us so E-mail alerts can go out in the area.
I will E-mail General Information including contact numbers for vets in Norfolk. I have added Bungee's details to Dog Lost Norfolk and Suffolk facebook group. Stay safe until you are found xxx - 2012-01-16 19:47 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Bungee was on doglost many years ago when he was stolen...and luckily recovered.
