- As Bruno's owners, could we just thank everyone for their efforts in looking for him, it was a great comfort to know that people were keeping an eye out for him. Big thank yous to the poster folk, you know who you are! Bruno is a little sleepy and a little thin (and really needs a bath!) but other than that seems to have braved his little adventure rather well. Cant thank Sam enough for being patient enough to manage to get hold of him and then taking him in for his chip to be read.

- Fantastic news, just had a call from a very happy owner. Bruno was found in Romiley by a lovely man who put him in his van, took him to work and then took him to the local pet shop where he was scanned - thank you very much to his finder. Bruno is fine, a little thin but this is only to be expected after his little adventure.
Welcome Home Bruno, stay safe now young man and big hugs from all at DogLost xx - 2012-01-21 14:37 Gillian
- Excellent! Been checking back to see if there was any news. So pleased. Good job that Bruno was microchipped - Salford is a fair way from Charlesworth! :o)

I have already confirmed that this dog is NOT Bruno. - 2012-01-20 12:55 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Thank you so much Sarah and Gillian. There is no news of Bruno so far and the owner has informed me that the dog sighted on Thorncliff Rd may be a local dog and not Bruno.
Gillian, you are quite right in that he may be hiding. He is timid anyway and in unfamiliar surroundings. Dogs very quickly revert back to animal instincts and will hide away from noise, probably only coming out between dusk and dawn when it is quieter. During the day he will probably find someone where he considers safe.
Please all keep looking for Bruno. The owners are visiting the dogs home this weekend, just in case he is their and his chip hasn't been found. posters are up in the area and all relevant parties have been notified.
Come on Bruno, where are you??? - 2012-01-20 11:01 Gillian
- Hi Sarah, when I was out yesterday I looked down Higher Barn/Lower Barn Roads and the green area in between but no sign. It was quite a busy time of time so even if he was around he may well have been hiding out of sight somewhere.

- ive been out this morning looking in the Green Lane/Newshaw Lane area but no sign of him i have put some posters up in the shops

- Thank you so much Gillian. Your help is very much appreciated. I'm hoping some posters may have gone up in the area so people are aware that he may be in the area xx

- Had a wander round the area earlier but no sign. Spoke to a couple of dog walkers who'd seen nothing. Probably the wrong time of day for him to be out and about though. I think I'd be more worried about the main roads in the area than the railway to be honest, although obviously that is a big worry too. If it was Bruno who was seen in the area, then it's not too bad - residential estate with school grounds and a strip of open land with a stream and a few trees.

- Gillian thank you so much. I am really concerned that there is a railway line between home and where he has been spotted. He is unfamiliar with the area as he has only lived there a few days. He is very timid so if you do see him try not to shout his name and keep your head down, let him come to you otherwise he will probably bolt again. Please let me know if you see or hear anything :)

- That's only a mile or so from where I live. I've got to go our for a couple of hours but could help look later if needed.

- Thanks Jayne. I have received information via Facebook that Bruno was seen at 9.30 last night on Thorncliff Road, Hadfield which is only a couple of miles away from where he went missing. The owners have been notified and someone is out looking for him now.
