Our little girl has been found safe and well, a police officer had seen the flyer and called me yesterday to say some one had called in a Terrier type they had found on their allotment and they had taken her in and would keep hold of her until they found the owner. I called them and went to see them and it was our Trevor. She is healthy and happy (more than can be said for us!) Thanks to anyone looking for her and to DogLost for all the help I have been given.xxxx

Message from owner on Facebook page.....

There has been two possible sightings and someone recognised her from the picture I've posted round the area. A dog fitting her description has been seen not too far from us after us hunting round since she went missing sunday evening. My partner went looking tonight but couldn't see her so we're going up there tomorrow hopefully it's her.x

Have now spoken to the owners. The dog is called Trevor and is female!! DW, vets and rescue centres have been contacted. An appeal has gone out on the local radio stations and they are using FB etc to spread the word. Trevor escaped from the garden with her mother after a fence panel blew down Her mum came back later that night. Owners have had a message via FB to say someone had found a dog in that area but so far they haven't been able to make contact with the finder. Owners have been advised to call Network Rail as there is a railtrack close by.Last edited: 2012-01-19 22:30:22 by AlisonH

Trying to contact owner. Think Trevor may be the name of the owner as the dog is female.Last edited: 2012-01-19 14:26:15 by AlisonH
