- me too - got bitten by an alsatianonce and ended up in hospital. I think you deserve a medal as well. Very brave. Well done for re-uniting this dog.

- Just logged on and found my e-mail alert, only to find that Arnie had already been reunited! Well done Suziewoo - know what you're going through having being bitten myself twice in the past. Sending healing thoughts. Welcome home Arnie xx

- Jayne....is there a recognised Doglost medal for bravery?

- Tenacious brave lady, very well done! Hope your arm heals quickly.

- Oh Gosh...you were brave...

- Bandages, dressings, a sling on my right arm, no driving for at least a week & a visit to a specialist hand injury unit tomorrow afternoon! But all worth it to make sure Arnie is safe! It was pure fear as he was so nervous- he just panicked.

- What was the outcome...any stitches needed? Did you get your tetanus jab?
- 2012-01-20 20:13 Suziewoo
- Ouch!!!!!!

- She was an absolute star!! Arnie was calm as soon as we got him safely back into a crate in the car, gently taking treats from me. Gabrielle off to get bites checked out and tetanus now

- Caught by Suziewoo....who got bitten several times during the process but did not let go until PaulaK managed to slip a lead around him...then Arnie was fine...above and beyond Ladies!

- Just got back from Earlswood Lakes. At one point Arnie was taking food from my hand but very nervous & he's very dirty & tired. Once he was more confident with me, he was sitting about 6ft away & closing his eyes. He seems to like smaller dogs to play with but will only come over if you are in an open area, crouching or sitting on the ground. His collar is loose so he will need a slip lead to catch him. The DW is aware and has been very helpful.

- Gabrielle was so close and someone else has ruined things by calling him and trying to catch him!

- 2012-01-20 10:41 PaulaK
- Anyone going over please do not call his name!!! He was 2 feet from Gabrielle and someone called his name and he went back in the bushes
