Thats brilliant news someone must have picked him up its too far for him to walk. So glad he's home with his Mum and Dad :) where he belongs. Wish every dog had the same ending

I have just had a call from Buds owners with the FANTASTIC news that after over 6 weeks he has been found !!! His owners got a call from a vets in Wakefield who had scanned him but he was apparently found in Batley !! Once again the microchip proving its worth ! Goodness know where he has been all this time an it's such a shame he can't tell us. Welcome home Bud and please stay safe from now on xxx

Owner might want to check out a similar dog found on strayaid.co.uk on 27th Jan. Don't think it is him but may be worth checking.

Ah, I know Bud, when we used to take our dogs over to Bishop Wood, we often saw him, and read his "tag" that said he was a local farm dog, and not lost ( 5-6 years ago). However, he did follow us across the roads some times, that Scalm Lane is like a "racetrack" with people speeding. There are ditches at both sides, he could be in, or if in the wood, he would be difficult to find. Hope he turns up soon.

Thanks keo61. I check to see if Buds owner has done this.

There is a main line railway which runs along one edge so would be worth checking with the rail authorities.

Thanks everyone ! Bud is a farm dog and tends to wander on his owners land which is directly on the edge of Bishops Wood. He vanished on Sunday 22nd January and has not been seen since. His owners have contacted the dog warden, local vets and Rose Farm kennels . I have also advised them to contact Petlog and have given them their number. Hoping for some news of Bud very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2012-01-26 20:58:18 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
