Oh nooooo! How absolutely terrible. This is going to be very hard, especially living so close to the area. My heart goes out to poor owners. Pasti is safe now; nothing can ever harm her again. This is an awful thing to get through, but you have to for Pasti. She is watching over you, safe in God's arms until you are together properly once more. This time, never to part again. God bless sweet Pasti and her loving owners. Beautiful girl who now has her wings to fly and follow owners wherever they go. x

My heart jumped when I saw the little one in the blue. I'd not seen the posting on FB - I no longer use the site - but I'm so very sorry her adventure ended this way. My thoughts are with her family. Take care little girl - sleep tight - sweet dreams. xx

Heard from owner. Pasti is still missing.Good job I checked as it can cause a lot of distress to owners if the information isnt right.

Spent a lot of time walking around Edern this morning - bumped into quite a few dog walkers 'cos the weather was good - passed on Pasti's details. Come on little girl - time to go home now. xx

Email I received from Mo.
Yes and no. I had a report of her again in the village but this time our side of the main road. So I went and looked and left a poster with the owner of the furniture warehouse where she had been seen and also went on down the cul de sac lane there to the farm and contractor's yard at the end and left a poster there too. I had a call from the contractor saying his lady in the office saw what was definitely Pasti behind their sheep shed. I went and left another jacket, more food and walked the farm and went to the next farm across the fields and left them a poster too but no sight of her. I went again at night and walked it all again but only rabbits. Then the contractor turned up on Fri night with a white jack russell dog thinking it was ours but sadly wrong colour size and sex! It would have been laughable if it wasn't so sad because he'd been in the pub with his friends and they were all a bit but not totally drunk, I was away and Richard was absolutely dead asleep and had no idea who these were or why they were trying to give him a strange dog and why they wouldn't take it back and all the while my labrador was going bonkers barking her head off at strangers in the night! It was so kind of him to think of us but probably someone let their dog out for a pee last thing and had it kidnapped!! I am still looking and went and drew all the gorse and scrub between the two farms again yesterday but not as much as a paw print. Sometimes I think she's just around the yard or our buildings or our fields and isn't brave enough now to come out so am still feeding something at night - probably cats or foxes.

Come on Pasti - time to go home little one.

Just had a phone call from Mo saying that Pasti has been sighted again about half a mile from home.
She still has her collar on and apparently is looking well.
Will bump this up and phone Mo later today to see if there's been anymore news.
Come on Pasti. We want to get you back home

Saturday evening - I've just come home so I'm heading out to have a bit of a drive around and a wander. Sorry to hear of your difficulties goldenfrodo - I'm hoping this little girl stays safe 'til she's found too, but we need her to be sighted again. C'mon babes, we need you to come home - it's not nice weather to be out in now.

Sunday morning - stayed out until 1-ish last night but didn't see or hear anything :-( . Let's hope Mo's postering comes up with some results.

Not only have I had no electricity, my phone line has been down as well.
Hopefully I'm back in business now.

I've just come off the phone from speaking with Pasti's owner. This little girl was seen around the village on Sunday - a little thin and ran off when called. I've advised re. leaving owner's smells where she was sighted - and some food. Also to leave some in yard in the hope that she returns of her own accord. If seen please ring the numbers above - please don't chase. I'm delighted there's been some positive news for her owner who's now home. Posters also being distributed to all local homes where wood and deliveries made. Thank you to the kind person doing this. So pleased she's been seen.

Had an email from her owner and she will be back from the USA on Monday.

I went for a wander round at half five this morning but heard nothing (that was doggy anyway). Please show yourself or give us some kind of sign where you are little one. I've also sent posters to all vets in Gwynedd, in case she's been picked up. x

I've been out since 8 this morning with Jess and then without her. Not as early as I'd hoped - didn't finish work until late and weather gradually worsened. Got back about half an hour ago. Carried sardines just in case but no sign at all. Any news of the man with the terrier? I heard no barking. I've texted the carer but no reply so far. I hope she's found soon

Still no news of Pasti. All the right authorities have been notified.
As she's chipped, hopefully if she's handed in, she'll be scanned and returned to her family.

Hi - I'm sorry to see that Pasti is missing. I live about 5 miles away in Pwllheli. I'll take posters round Pwllheli in the morning. Just phoned vet - emergency lady says there's no dogs in there at the moment. Will drop poster in tomorrow morning. Working tomorrow night and Saturday but will go over very early Sunday morning with Jess to see if we can hear/see anything if the little one's not home by then. Just spoken with the lady who's looking after Pasti whilst her owner's away - possible she'd gone chasing rabbits. Will drop posters into local grammar schools - children see and hear a lot.
