Snitch wandered into a garden quite near to where she first ran off from on Saturday and thankfully the people there had the presence of mind to shut the gate and keep her in ! Now home safe and sound she is hungry and very very tired and just wanting to snuggle up in her bed. Her owners are taking her to the vets tomorrow for a check up just to be sure all is well. once again welcome home Snitch xxx

We have been round to the lock up numerous times but he is not there, we have spoken with all of the people in the area and asvised there is a big reward to hopefully entice him. I just hope he has her with him, if he does I will then tell him that what he is doing is illegal and should speak with the authorities. I'm going to keep an eye on this man even after Snitch is found. Thank you for all advise - it is much much appreciated x

Evening Gazette is Middlesbrough based, but covers most of Cleveland.
Was so hoping for some good news.

Snitch's family when I spoke to your Dad the other night he mentioned someone had told him there was a man who 'took dogs in' and I think it was someone with a lock up on the industrial estate? I urged your Dad that he MUST find out who this man is and speak with him personally. I don't know in what manner he ''takes dogs in ' but any straying dog has to be reported to the dog warden BY LAW. We just need to find this man to make sure Snitch has not been taken to him ! Thank you so much Ladylola. Is the gazette from Middlesbrough? We have already put an ad in the Hartlepool mail and we are running a feature tomorrow night. It doesn't feel real, I can't believe we haven't found her or that someone has not once spotted her since saturday night. She has a collar on with our phone number. We have searched everywhere, I hope she is not out there in this cold. This is so heartbreaking

Posted this link to my FB..Have friends who often walk dogs on SC Beach as I do myself..plus North Gare. Will keep our eyes peeled.I have checked the Gazette lost and found today,,nothing there. Hope this little one is home soon. Might be worth putting an Ad in the gazette and Hartlepool mail if you haven't already. Don't give up hope.

Thank you so much BoneManJohn ! Sadly there has been no more news of Snitch and it is not certain that the sighting yesterday WAS her as there is another similar dog that sometimes wanders in the area of the sighting. Snitch may have been picked up by someone or could be hiding up and avoiding coming out when people are about . Her owners mentioned that there are industrial units nearby and a wast disposal site and they have been making enquiries in these areas and Posters need to go up there as well. Her owners are hoping to get media coverage for Snitch. Hoping tomorrow brings news of her xxLast edited: 2012-01-31 23:24:06 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

I'm visiting family in Hartlpool this week - I spent 2 hours this morning walking my dogs around the area & didn't see any sign Sorry :-( From Stockton road, through Rossmere Park, Rossmere Way, Catcote Road, Greenock Road, Wynyard Road, then Back down through the Green area next to Hamilton Road, then Callander Road, Benmore Road and Braemar Road - Drove down Seaton Lane, past Golden Flatts and back along Brenda Road into Town - There are lots of horses and vehicles over in the green area to the South of Seaton Lane (Gypsies?) - they may have seen something... Good Luck!!! John

After Snitch was sighted this afternoon she ran off into Seaton Lane in the direction of the seafront. Snitch is often walked in the area she ran off from on Saturday so it will be familiar to her and hopefully she will keep near to the seafront. It's not known why she ran off on Saturday but apparently she just bolted from the car when her owner opened the car door to walk her and it's thought something must have spooked her. She is very nervous now and If any helpers do see her please don't chase her as this will only make her even more nervous. Hoping Snitch is back home very soon x

Snitch was last seen at Golden Flatts school at tea time today (monday 30/1/12), her collar is now missing. We searched Rossmere, the fens, all the industrial estates around - unfortunately did not see her. She might be in your area now, please look out for her. She is missed so much xLast edited: 2012-01-30 21:14:01 by Snitch's Family
