Update from owner...
My brother found him through a friend of a friend on facebook, they had taken him in a couple of weeks ago and grown very attached to him.
They had reported it to the police, as had I that he was missin, but the police ommitted to contact me.
He has been very well looked after so I am greatful for that.

Paula Marie, thanks for posting the details about the found dog. I have requested further info from the Animal Wardens.

EDIT: I've heard from the AW's that the found in M45 was a lurcher cross and that he has now been reunited with his owners. Thanks again Paula Marie, its always worth checking them out :)Last edited: 2012-02-02 17:49:48 by Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester

Have spoke to Max's owners. They have already contacted the dog warden, police and local vets and got posters up in the area. I have advised that they visit Aspen Valley Kennels, contact the chip company and think about the lost and found section of the local newspaper. I will send the advice email.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Max is home soon.
