- Very similar dog has just been picked up by wardens in Hillmorton area of Rugby and is currently en route to pound. No chip found, but have alerted Angus to double check when she is next there (today I think?) Dog found seems to be an older female and has a lump on mammary gland.

- Thank you all so very much for your commitment and help and support. There is no news of her at all. Nik, I would be very surprised to find that we are dealing with a hound - her mother is a pedigree Norfolk terrier, and her father a wire-haired JR. Her coat is very soft and silky, and I would not be surprised to find that there is Yorkie somewhere along the line. I really appreciate all the help being given. Thank you all so much.

- I think this may comes as a bit of a surprise for Gizmo's owner: Gizmo is obviously part basset griffon vendeen. As such, we're dealing with some hound instincts here ! Anyway, Gizmo's details are going on bgvclub.co.uk so any local club members can offer some help/advice.Last edited: 2012-02-23 17:58:29

- Hi Robyn , my friend who works at DK Packing on the Heath hasn't seen or heard anything .....but she's continuing to look out . Sa
dly there are so many main roads even though it's out in the country .....have there been any sightings at all ? so hope he's found soon ....I will continue to look out for him!I'm up and down Lawford Heath most of th weekend . x - 2012-02-15 18:26 rd9048
- Thank you both, Lizzy and Lynn. After talking to Lizzy, I called the Highways agency and talked to Bill, who assured me that if they find dogs near the roads, they always check for chips and update the register with the chip company. I was quite reassured by that because I had been told that they don't do much. They do not keep a list at all though, so could not establish if they have found her recently. I will contact the chip company, but I believe they would have contacted me.

- Spoke to owner today, still no news. She has covered as much as possible but I have suggested she contacts the Highways Agency because of a busy road close by, other than that an add in the Advertiser.

- Have you tried Rugby Radio to see if they can help , and also Rugby Advertiser & Observer free local paper ? that covers a large area including villages.
Hope you find her soon. - 2012-02-06 13:35 Lynn
- I've put up a poster in Long Lawford co - op & and a lady took one to put up in the park, so alot of people should see it in both places .

- I'm In Long Laword just down the road, have you put up posters in the local shops here? Joy at the farm is lovely , and very "in the know" locally so she maybe worth a visit? do you know where it is ? on the main road, she usually has plants for sale outside, also maybe put posters in the garage & travel lodge on te A45? My printer at home isnt working but I will try and print off posters at work tomorrow, we have lots a dog walkers in our village and a "dog club" who meet in the park, the co op / post office is opposite there so worth putting up a poster in there as well. Good Luck.

- Thanks Lynn, I didn't think of Blooms - will go over tomorrow. I don't know Joy, but the people in this village have been round all the fields, so I am sure she is not in the area closeby. Thanks for your help and suggestions.

- Just had a thought ....have you put a poster in Blooms Garden Centre? could be worth a try....Do you know Joy who has got Lawford Heath Farm? maybe she could put up a poster outside her farm with her plants for sale, as its on the main road alot will see it.

- The snow will hopefully be gone soon! You need to poster like crazy. There's a good chance that someone has picked her up and intends to keep her so she needs to be too hot to handle.
Thanks for your help Lynn - 2012-02-04 23:34 Lynn
- I live down the road to here and drove around today but sadly saw nothing! my village is a bit cut off at the moment with the snow , I'm always about in this area so will look out, so hope she is found ! such a cutie!

- Sorry to see that GIZMO is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36777)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
