- Majorjet (Jan) do you know if hazel called porth pound to find out if it could be deisel? xx

- Were the dogs shut in a stable, or running around free? I'm wondering how both came to be stolen - with 2 weeks apart? I wonder if the same thieves came back for the 2nd dog. If so, owners, really try to work out who you might have seen hanging around on both those dates, maybe even someone familiar to you? Farriers trainee? scrap man? someone coming to look at yard? or to look at a horse? Was it daylight or dark? Did you get the 2nd dog chipped after the first was stolen? They were either very clever, or very stupid to come back for the 2nd one. Maybe if you kept them in a stable - the thieves knew this. If a DIY livery, then lots of people come and go???????

- Is anymore known about how these dogs were stolen? Apart from the breed of dog the circumstances seem very similar to that of our dogs stolen from our stables last year (Sandy and Taz - 10/01/11 and Smoky - 24/01/11) still missing :( x

- Another Rottie (MAX) has also been STOLEN from owner's stables. Details grouped together to help with the postering.
Owner will check Halewood RSPCA tomorrow for any matches. I will start spreading the word on facebook. x - 2012-02-14 18:58 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- Thanks find ebony and mad_gal_heva for looking out for Desil greatly appreciated. It is impossible for us to check all posts, it would be great if you could alert us by sending an email to admin@doglost.co.uk or if on facebook send us a direct message.
I've left a message with Desil's owner and alerted them to your posts. Halewood RSPCA is one of the contact numbers given to owner's when making contact with them and is included in the info/advice email. I do try and go into the kennels and look out for NW dogs or ring when I can time prevailing due to work commitments.
Owner has not long posted on facebook (DOGLOST NORTH WEST) that another Rottie has been STOLEN from the stables. :( - 2012-02-12 20:51 find ebony
- Anyone know what is happening with this dog? I left a message with both mobiles to say about the dog at halewood but not heard anything, i was wondering if they have him back or check halewood i hope they do check as it is certainly possible the dog could end up at halewood rspca, they said they get dogs from warrington area all the time. please let me know if anything is heard as i know how upsetting it is to lose a dog and i know i would look anywhere and everywhere and do anything and everything for ebony no matter how long it takes to bring her home.
- 2012-02-12 20:48 mad_gal_heva
- Also saw very similar to this boy at halewood today!
- 2012-02-11 17:01 find ebony

- Started sharing on facebook earlier tonight and have had a message via facebook of a sighting of a Rottie Thursday around 6.20pm with a guy at the chippie on the corner of Old Liverpool Road and Hood Lane. He had a male rottie with him but the dog had no lead or anything on and he was holding it round the neck so it didnt run off.
I've emailed this info to owner who has replied via email, still waiting for them to confirm the area and postcode. They did say he was STOLEN from their stables. Will update details a.s.a.p. x - 2012-02-05 22:36 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- Sorry to see that DESIL AND MAX is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36843)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
