- These two runaways are safely reunited with their owner They had been found by a farmer 10 miles away. Both are now being fed and resting in the warm, they were looking skinny and Sampson in particular was a very lucky boy as he had got tangled on to metal sleepers by his lead and was well and truly stuck. Welcome home you two and no more adventures.

- Spoke to owner and offered help to walk and search for dogs. If they haven't been found before will do this tomorrow, Wednesday.
Dogs ran off whilst out on a walk in area of Launde Wood. Male dog Samson still had lead attached. Owner has searched extensively, and has seen tracks, but no signs of dogs. Has been in contact with local dog wardens, RSPCA, rescue kennels, local radio, local Vets etc etc. Have suggested postering animal feed stores, supermarkets, local vets, pubs etc. Both dogs are elderly (10years) and are neutered and also microchipped.
There are pheasant feeders in the area, and they have previously eaten pheasant food, so hopefully have done so again and are therefore not hungry, just cold. - 2012-02-07 11:35 Ellie
- Owners presumably out searching as no answer on landline or mobile. Will try again shortly
