- It was the very least I could do! If you look back, went through a very similar situation with 2 of my labs last year, so knew the heartache that the owner was going through. The help and advise I received here I simply passed on, and hopefully Daisy and Samsons owner may in the future be in a position to do the same for someone else. That's what dog owners do isn't it, all help each other, and that's what this site is all about! :-)

- Just to add, apparently Samson's lead had become caught round some railways sleepers, and he couldn't get free. Daisy had barked at the farmhouse door and then ran back to her brother!! Samson was very thirsty, and tired but fine!
