There is a post on Facebook in Worcestershire as follows:

"I rescued a dog this morning and her chip details are Stourport on Severn. She was found in Redditch so the owner may have moved and not changed but was hoping we might find someone who could help? Her name is Tilly. She is a black cocker spaniel. Quite old. Wearing a blue tatty collar. She was registered to an Al Cook of Vernon Road but the mobile number was no longer active Found at 5:30am this morning in Redditch. She is with the Worcestershire dog warden but they only hold dog for 7 days before they are re homed if we find they owner they will need to provide proof of ownership"

There is also a photograph but I don't know how to post it on here.

I have left a message on the mobile phone number listed in contact details.

More sightings of a black spaniel seen near the lodge at Heapey and the reservoirs nearby. Been for walks around and about but not had any sightings.

Have managed to speak to Tillys owner who is quite elderley and unable to go to the butty van to check if it is Tilly. mumstaxi, I will contact you to see if anyone searching for Meg could take a photo to the butty van while they are in the area, see if they think it is the same dog that is visiting them.

good morning, we currently have a search going on for meg the jrt missing from pr6 megs owner has been told that a black dog visits the buttie van on walton summit we thought it might be meg but apparently its said that this dog has longer legs than a jrt wondering if this could be tilly? fb page please help find meg have tried to ring you

Sorry to hear that Tilly is missing. There is a Boston Terrier Otto missing from near here so it mag be worth contacting Otto's owner as well and then everyone can poster for each others dogs.

Hi Jane' You need to get as many poster as you can around the sighted area to make everyone aware. Megs owner would be more than happy to join forces. Not sure if you have been in touch with her but this is her contact number taken from Megs DL page 07985 286154. Also have you had Tilly in the local paper? :)

Jane, do you mean Tilly was near the lodge nr Heapey Rd? I have an horse at Heapey and spend a lot of time around the area so I will keep a look out for her. Did Cath with Meg, Jack Russell, missing from PR6 get in touch with you. She was going to contact you about trying to get together to look for both your dogs.

Had a phone call today that somebody had seen Tilly on Wednesday March 1st by some lodges in the Heapey area. Put posters up in the area around there. Tilly's owner.

Is there any more news on Tilly? Did she go missing on a walk or from home? I have been in and around the surrounding areas yesterday and today but no signs. My printer not working at mo so cant do any postering but could offer some time if anyone needs some help.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36899)
