Thanks for the info Justine - I have called them and they have said the dog you are referring to is only 9 months old (chino would be atleast 2yrs by now) and the dog had been given to them by its owner from a pup. But we must check everything out !! Thanks again :) SarahxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Justine that would be fantastic! I have got together a list of numbers for Rescue Centres in and around my area. Hi Justine I will start checking out rescue centres in the area you have seen this dog and go from there- Haven't done this for a long while as I went back to work, But when he first went missing I think I could have phoned every rescue centre in the country - hence my phone bill. However he could have been looked after and then no longer wanted, so may have been passed on to another rescue centre, so will see what I can find out! Also wanted to mention have seen Alfies new poster bless - He looks sooo georgous, I will replace my posters in my local vets etc where I have put up the old poster. Good luck and my fingers are crossed for the both of us ... and of course everyone else who has lost their dogs! xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I don,t want to get your hopes up here, but I came accross a dog like this today whilst out with my dogs. The dog I met had a new owner who had just recentlt got it from a rescue. This dog was a collie alsation cross, had a shaggy but short coat, big ears and was very brown, about the size of an alsation.I asked the lady what bread it was and she said she thought it was an alsation cross, maybe collie? Justine I have never seen this dog before in this area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I know is a terrible shame, But since he has been missing so long, I have had many calls from peple believing to have or have seen Chino. My partner was picking me up from the station (like every evening) we are only gone for 5 minutes and he was so scared of the thunder and lightening he squeezed out of our catflap and jumped over the fence. He was last seen (or thought to have been) running into his usual park ("The Wreck") Tottenham N17. I am so happy to know there are people out there helping and looking still though! Thanks to alfies mum also for putting up posters in Kent. He could be anywhere in the UK by now! xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Jayne My partner recieved thecall this afternoon while I was at work - They have described him similarly to Chino, But apparently the collar the dog is wearing is blue, And Chinos was reddish/brown. However he has been missing for 1 year now so this could have changed in that time. I cannot get to the dog home due to work, But my sister is going their tomorrow to have a look. Fingers crossed will keep you updated. Thanks :) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
