- So pleased your dog has been found. Certainly complain, what if a child fell down this drain hole. Remind them of the sueing society we live in and that it would cost them a fortune if it ever went to court.

- Thank you for text, owners. I can see Jayne received your e-mail, thank you. This is very bad - you need to call the company responsible for this drain and knowing them, it will be a case of perseverence to get it fixed. We had one here, in the park, and it took three years of badgering The Water Company and finally with threats of MPs etc, not only did that drain get covered but another got refixed. It could save a life! Well done to your friends for finding him - one very lucky boy! Good news. x

A friends dogs have just found my dog in the area where he was last seen. He was in drain hole about 2 feet deep and was unable to get out.

- Hi, I have emailed the info to my mum who is a member of Barkway golf club she will forward it on but not sure if there will be many people there due to the weather, but as we know it only takes one person to see him and call. Hope Billy Bubbles finds his way home soon.
