- There was a sighting of a Yorkshire Terrier sounding very like Boots yesterday and again at 10 am this morning on Woolacombe Avenue near Mount Pleasant Avenue. The owners have searched there this evening but no further sightings. If anyone is in the area could they keep a lookout for him tomorrow morning, please.

- I live on Newport Road and walk down Wentloog Road, New Road and up Rumey Hill and along Newport Road everyday with my dogs so will keep an eye out for Boots.

- I've contacted the owner to offer help. And I've contacted someone from the gypsy/traveller community who will make enquiries. He has some ideas. He suggested that the poster should offer a reward (which he has offered to pay himself!) because that will bring the dog to light. He'll contact me tomorrow. I walk my dogs on land just behind the owner's house and will alert all dog walkers in the morning.
