- hi jackie.25, i am so pleased this girl has a new home with you. She is absolutely beautiful and so sweet. It is great that she has settled well with your other springer. I hope she recovers fully from her op so she and your family will have a brilliant future together. dewilliams42 Maddie is being submissive when around other dogs, she must be a little wary after what happened. Her bite marks and puncture are healing well xx Off to look at the photo on strayaid FB. Just been on the page but can't find the photo will try again later xxLast edited: 2012-03-04 19:52:22 by BBKM

- Sorry to hear about Maddie. I've been in the same situation myself and it really shakes you up! I think you're right to go with your instinct if it didn't feel right. She's beautiful and I'm sure someone will offer her a loving and forever home.xx

- Just been to see this gorgeous, sweet, loving girl who was a little nervous but with every right to be after what she has been through.
I wish I had not went to see her as I just didn't feel right because my sprocker Maddie had just been bitten by an unfriendly staffie this morning. I was not in the right frame of mind to go and view as I was more concerned about Maddie ( who seems fine with only one puncture wound).
Unfortnately, and I can't explain why, but I felt I was not the right person to home her. Someone else has shown interest in her so hopefully it will not be too long for this girl to go off to her new forever home.x - 2012-02-28 12:21 dewilliams42
- PLEASED THE OPERATION WENT WEL. FINGERS CROSSED THEY WILL GET ON. SHE MIGHT BE A BIT WARY GIVEN IT IS NOT LONG AFTER HER OP BUT GOOD LUCK. X
- 2012-02-28 11:03 BBKM
- This lady is about 7yrs old and her operation has went well. I am going to see her with my 9month old sprocker bitch tomorrow afternoon to see if they are ok with each other. Fingers crossed x

- Telephoned today about this little lady. The vet will be sedating her on Mon or Tues morning, they seem to think there is enough skin to graft over her foot when growth is removed. They will further investigate then so lets hope that is all it is, a growth. If all goes well she will then be put up for rehoming. I have to call at 11am Monday so will update again then xLast edited: 2012-02-23 22:52:02 by BBKM

- Thanks everyone. I telephoned again today to see how this little one is. The growth doesn't seem to be bothering her, she is running around ok. I have to call again on 23rd after her 7 days so I will update then. Fingers crossed x

- Bazil I really hope you are successful at re-homing this little sweetheart - she deserves a good home. Good luck!!xx

- FINGERS CROSSED IT IS TREATABLE, PERHAPS IT LOOKS WORSE THAN IT IS BECAUSE ITS BEEN LEFT. SHE DESERVES SOME LOVE IN HER LIFE POOR GIRL.X
- 2012-02-19 14:36 BBKM
- All they told me was their vet will examine her, have to wait until her 7 days are up, if not claimed she will then be put up for rehoming, only if the growth can be treated. They don't think she will be claimed, does look like she has been dumped because of this. I know there is a puppy farm somewhere in this area where she was found, she is probably no longer any good to them. Fingers crossed she will be ok x
- 2012-02-19 08:13 dewilliams42
- IT WOULD BE LOVELY TO SEE HER GOING TO A NEW HOME BASIL IF NOT CLAIMED. THAT LEG DOES LOOK AWFUL, HOPEFULLY ITS TREATABLE. DID THEY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT WHEN YOU MADE ENQUIRIES?
- 2012-02-18 23:50 BBKM
- I'm tempted so I have enquired about this gorgeous girl, poor darling. Hope that growth/tumour can be treated. x
- 2012-02-17 20:24 Gypsy
- Thankfully where she is based has a non destruct policy and an on site veterinary centre - so if she isn't claimed, she will hopefully recieve treatment and go up for re-homing. I'd be tempted if I didn 't already have three!! xx
- 2012-02-17 19:41 dewilliams42
- THATS AWFUL, POOR GIRL. PERHAPS ITS A LARGE ABSCESS. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HER IF NOT CLAIMED?
- 2012-02-17 19:22 Gypsy
- So far no one has come forward to claim this sweet girl. Its looking like she may have been dumped because she requires veterinary treatment. xx
- 2012-02-17 18:10 dewilliams42
