- Unfortunately, unlike Rusty's escapee pal Rio there have been no sightings. Network rail have been contacted and they rang back to say they had not found anything. Owners had a phonecall to say a dog answering Rustys description had been taken to an Oakengates vets but despite ringing round nobody knew anything! I have suggested they widen the area to surrounding vets. Come on Rusty show yourself.

- Just speaking to the owner and she said when they got out into the field it had been snowing and snow had covered the entire field. When her husband entered the field to look for them their paw prints were quite visible - and they never left the field!! The only other prints were that of a person and a larger dog. I am wondering whether the walker arrived with one dog but left with three? There is no water in the field just treees and grass. 3 horses and a donkey are pastured there. They have spoken to the owner of these animals but no news there.

- I admit I thought Rio looked more Staffy x. Have taken owners some posters and have put some up in the Hilbrae charity shop and Pets at Home. I asked in Tesco but they were not very accomodating. Happy to print/take some more out if needed.

- I've put both photos of Rio and Rusty on the poster. Rio appears to resemble a SBT Cross rather than a Labrador Cross. I would strongly advise that his description is changed as with no chip he could slip through the system unnoticed. Maybe just Crossbreed would be a safer option?

- Have local vets been advised? Most will be open on Saturday morning and a picture would be very helpful. Will have a look in the area tomorrow as we will be in Oakengates in the morning

- I also understand that they do not have a printer and I don't have a colour one. I can try and print some posters in black and white but if anybody could help print some of Rusty or of Rio (separate page) that would be helpful and they would be grateful.

- The owners, Kim and Dave, had problems uploading one of Rusty. There is one on Kims Facebook page but I cannot see it. I have asked her to look at the privacy settings as it maybe it needs to be adjusted for photos to allow others to view it. Once I can see it I will upload it.
