Thank you everybody so much for your help and concern!! Puppin is back home safe, a little tired and shaken but healthy and in need of a good bath! Can't thank everybody enough for your support and help! Thank you so much :)
Maddie
WE'VE GOT HIM!! He's just been found around the back of The Good Intent Pub by my parents, perseverance paid off! Thank you both so much for your help in trying to find him, it really has been appreciated. He's seems a bit shaken, but ok! I think we may need to do some serious re-training. Thank you again :) :) :) Maddie

Hi Maddie - that would have been me and my dog that you spotted. I have a busy day Wednesday but will be walking through the Priory grounds on the footpath towards Shackleford in the morning and again late afternoon. I hear he likes cheese so will go prepared. We were so close today! Good luck
Maddie
Hi Duncan. Thanks for the info, I think we spotted you heading off down the path to Shackleford with dog in tow. Hes been seen about 5 times today by different people but he's not interested in going to them at the moment. Just after we heard he was with you we had another sighting by the groundmens of the Priory and he was walking near the small round Garden building they have there. I spent a good 1-2 hours searching and calling fom him there but to no avail. I'm not sure he wants to be found yet!
If you do happen to see him again he responds very well to the word 'dinner' so its worth a try. Thank you again for all of your help.

The good news is he's alive and healthy. And thank you again for looking Peta. He's definitely cruising around the Puttenham area at the moment, we've just got to hope he either gets bored and gives himself up or if he is scared that he bumps into one of us looking from him or hunger takes over!

Firm sighting at 1330 Tuesday 21st in my garden, Lawn Cottage, GU3 1BD, Puttenham. He was a bit spooked by 3 men and another dog trying to catch him and managed to get out onto Suffield Lane. He was followed and set off South along the footpaths to Shackleford. I have just walked across the fields to Lydling Farm but no further sighting. Owner informed by telephone. He looks fit & well.

Been out on hampton land between Littleworth rd and seale church. Called a few times, but nothing, sorry. Has Puppin got a squeaky toy you could take out with you? Or does he respond to squeaky toys? My terrier will hide for ages and ignore my calls (!!) but if I use a squeaker when I call he comes dashing back!! Also, banging feed bowl? Need to stay in one area for about 10 mins or so though, in case he is a few fields away?! Perhaps you could park by that lane I was at yesterday, parking on verge. Just a thought. Know it sounds silly, but you never know!! Will go out later and call for him too. x
Maddie
Thank you that sounds great, I did spot the green screens and lights from Hampton and spoke to a sound director over the weekend. We've driven up and down that road for hours but haven't seen him. Had another call from a lady last night who spotted a 'dog' running into the Church in Seale so we are heading out there to look around again today. Thank you again for your help and support, it really is greatly appreciated!

peta
Hi Maddie, presumed you meant the road between Seale Church and Puttenham, so have gone that way a couple of times. Gave a poster to the film crew Guard, stationed on the little lane just off that road, that goes up to the Hampton Estate. He is going to spread the word around the crew and his colleagues the other side of the estate, that if they see a terrier running around try and catch, but whatever, call you. Hope this helps.
peta
I'm going out shortly, will go that way to see if he is around !!! Good luck!! xx By the way, my daughter said that there was filming going on Hampton Estate way last night. Perhaps he'll get drawn there by activity?
Maddie
Hi Peta
Thank you sooo much for the information and thank you for the postering.
Good news - we've had a sighting! A lady called today and said that she saw what she thought was him in a field along the Seale Lane opposite the last few houses in Puttenham. From the desciption it sounds like him and she said he seemed quite bright and enegertic. We've spent the afternoon searching the fields around there but haven't seen him again. It is so reassuring to know that he is out there somwhere! We'll will carry on looking around there in the light tomorrow.

Thanks again for your kind words and support...we will kee you udated.
Cheers,
Maddie

pps if you would like me to put more posters up anywhere, let me know! I have put some up already, not a problem! Really recommend in backs of cars..
peta
hi Maddie, I'm so sorry Puppin hasn't been found yet. How was he lost? Is it possible he went down a rabbit hole? Don't want to scare you, but a friends jack russell did just that and was missing for 7 days.. She went back to where she had lost him and looked around for rabbit holes and found him. If you think he's wandered off on his own and/or someone may have picked him up, then you are doing the right thing with the posters. I went round to all the dog walking areas and you had beaten me to it with posters!!!! Well done!! I have put one in the door at Elstead vet too, didn't look at time to see if you had already done that. If you haven't already, let the dog warden know (Peter Burnage 01483 444765)and the local rescue centres. Send a poster to these places too. I expect DogLost have already given you this info, sorry if repeating it! If the police pick Puppin up, they would take him to Treetops kennels. 01483 572588. If he was stolen, ie taken from car, then police need to be involved and I can give you contact if required. They can only get involved if a crime was known to be committed though, which is what happened to me. Another fantastic way of letting people know to look for Puppin is facebook. People I didnt know all over the county were putting posters of my dog in their local shops etc and in the backs of their cars!!! I have put a poster of him in the back of my car and put him on my facebook news feed urging my local friends to do so. That's all the info I can think of at the moment!! I hope Puppin is not far away. Be aware that if someone has picked him up as 'that's a nice dog', then he is at least being looked after. And soon, someone will see a poster and put two and two together.. Hope you can keep positive. Until it happens to you, you don't know how awful it is for another owner :(( xx Peta ps Pet Detectives kindly let me use one of their ready made posters too. It might be good to put some of these up, as if anyone has picked him up they may be concerned to think that an agency is on to them.... Also, that is another option for you, as in employing them. Sam is lovely and I was on the point of employing them when Bob was returned. info@thepetdetectives.com. 01483 278259 I shall keep an eye and ear out for Puppin on the commons and continue spreading the word!
Maddie
Thanks peta. He's been gone for 3 days now and we haven't heard anything, but still hoping he will be found. Any advice on how to find him would be very welcome and thank you for your help again.
Maddie (Laura's sister)

I don't live far from there and have printed out some posters and will put up. Will obviously spread the word re Puppin. I hope he is found soon. My dog was stolen from nearby, but we got him back thanks to poster power and spreading the word on face book. He became too hot to handle and was returned. Don't lose hope, I hope you get him back soon. Peta
