- So sorry for the loss of Daisy. My thoughts are with her family. Daisy is now at the bridge, playing at the bridge like a young puppy again. When the time comes she will be waiting for you there: she has not gone from you forever. Night, night Daisy sleep tight. RIP+++ Sending your family healing thoughts and comforting hugs for their sorrow. (Have only just seen this) God Bless. `till you meet again,

- Just read this update on Animal finders from the 2nd March 'I'm sad to report that Daisy's owner has just informed us that she didn't make it. She was found in a pond near to the house' So Sad. But on the day I searched I did have a gut feeling that this is what had happened. RIP Daisy. xxx

- Have we had any news on Daisy. The fishing lake opened on the 1st March - thought maybe the extra activity round there may have brought some news?

- spent 4 hrs this morning searching and spreading the word about our lost daisy. wasn't sure where to start so drove the backroads from Kidlington via Merton, Blackthorn and parked near the church in Launton. spoke to a lot of people in launton - none of whom knew about daisy. i did not see any posters. went up all side roads/closes. then went up station road towards pounden, scanned pond and zigzagged searching ditches and hedgerows and scanned fields. spoke to farmer who knew daisys owners and had also been looking - more precise location given re loss site i.e crossroads between pounden/launton/marsh gibbon and stratton audley. scanned fields, ditches hedgerows walking a couple of miles in each direction from crossroads. spoke to some horse riders from stratton audley way who had a poster up at their stables. then walked footpath across fields back to launton. no sign of daisy but extremely difficult to search due to the ammount of rubbish in hedgerows and ditches plus other searchers be warned especially if with child or dogs - evidence of drug taking in gateways to fields, didn't see any needles but never know. And apparently Stoke Woods is well known for dogging ?!There is a fishing lake in close proximity and also some waterlogged woodland/copse area. The railway line is also near but not that close. There was evidence that someone may have made a little bed area in the waterlogged woodland with straw. Very rural area but difficult to search without consent from landowners. Dissapointing day. Maybe a few more posters along the roads? Good luck searchers. x

- bit confused about where to look. animalfinders states stratton audley road but the only one i can find is quite a way from launton. can someone advise as to where to help with the search? Also, really dont want to suggest this but the railway line seems close, and there seems to be some ponds nearby... :(. Are neighbours checking their sheds/gardens? Was she an active OAP? walking routes?

- Didnt another elderly JR go missing in Bicester and was found in another county's dog warden, with one day to spare. Perhaps we ought to bear this in mind with this little one.
Im happy to meet up with anyone doing a search on Wednesday afternoon or Friday afternoon. - 2012-02-19 07:38 Diana
- I will be putting a poster in Stoke Woods.

- not silly at all lesleyjane - we have had the dogs who have got suck inside recliners and one who somehow got into the attic unnoticed - they often don't bark when they are confined either ... so best to do a thorough search of any nook or crannie
- 2012-02-18 12:06 anna64
- Poster put up at Heyford Park stores (OX25)
