- Fantastic news .. so glad that Falco is home. Well done to Kent police and all who shared and reposted. Wonder if the man knew anything about the other spaniels lost/stolen in Hawhurst/Bedgebury area.. they were springers.Last edited: 2012-03-13 21:24:00 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

- I'm indescribably happy to have Falco back home with us. He's happy and well which is wonderful. If only he could tell us about his adventures over the past two weeks. Thank you so much to everybody who has helped us with Falco's return.

- I have just heard there was a possible sighting of a black cocker spaniel near Goudhurst, spotted at 8.30 am yesterday, Tues 6 March, running along Jarvis Lane, near Curtisden Green. If there are any local dog walkers in that area, please keep a look out for him. Many thanks.

- I have been in contact with owners re this- suggestion was made and explained by Jayne as they give first consultation free and might be able to assist with searches.
re the mondeo info you had unfortuntely lead to nothing as police phoned me back after your call to update me on this. we are working closely with kent police and sussex as goudhurst is close on borders to both. - 2012-02-29 09:13 wickedweims
- I spoke to the owners last night and told them what information that i still have and they said dee that you had suggested that they call pet detectives, Have pet detectives had any luck tracing dogs but the owner did say that they were expensive

- Dee, thanks for looking into that. The policeman I reported Falco lost to has the business card, I don't have a copy. Also, I heard earlier today that the police have been in touch with the Trading Standards people and it seems there's nothing to follow up there, sadly. Good thought though.

- Amanda, I've just got off the phone from speaking with Trading Standards to see if they recognised the description of the man - sadly they keep company records not details of physical features. I know the business card was legit but do you have those details in case they've got them listed with a man pretending to be them? Dee x

- I live slightly north of Goudhurst and have let all my neighbours know about Falco as they all have dogs and we walk regularly in the area. I also work at The Kit Wilson Trust nr. Uckfield and they have been notified about him too. We always scan stray dogs that come in so it's good that he is chipped. Fingers crossed for you & Falco. Keep strong!!

- How do i find the doglost blog to see more info on this man?
- 2012-02-27 10:31 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- The man who took the dog was informed the dog came from nearby and said he would knock at doors...but never did. He drives a browny green unusual shade old Ford Mondeo and is knocking on doors offering to pressure clean peoples drives. HE is 5 foot 7 inches tall with sleeked back dark hair and blue eyes. He has a distinctive tattoo on his neck saying ELLA or ELLEN. He is handing out another legit persons business cards saying he is their son...if you spot a similar vehicle in your area please take down the registration number.
