- Sad to say but they may possibly just have belonged to travellers and now past their "sell by date" and therefore discarded as so many of them do! I hope they can be found a loving home together.

- I'm so pleased these ladies are safe - I'm sure they're wondering what's going on in their little lives. They've gone unclaimed - but we don't know that they were abandoned, do we? We don't know their owner's circumstances - they might have gone into hospital - they might have moved - they might just be an elderly person who hasn't realised the implications of their disappearance - their owner might have died! They're safe now and that's what matters - maybe in time their owners will appear - 7 days in a holding kennel is not very long to make enquiries.

- These 2 girls are together and safe in rescue and in due course will be found a new home where they will be loved and cared for. A very big 'thank you' to the Dog Warden, The Ark Animal Rescue in Ashbourne and the Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme.

- According tgo a recent article I read, it mayt become compulsory for all dogs to be microchipped and put on a database (As Northern Ireland) hopefully, people would think before abandoning their animnals like this, when they are no longer considered useful. I know the people on this site are not like this of course. Hope these two lovelies find their forever home soon.
