Just read your update, cookie. That's such great news - blood test outcomes and a bright new future for a poor boy who really deserves it. I will never understand how people can 'throw away' dogs who just want to be someone's special friend. It's utterly despicable, but luckily he had you and his new owner to care for him. Thank you x

eddie will be going to his new home on sunday he is travelling to wales to live with a lovely lady with other oldies,she has 10 acres of land where he will be able to mooch around to his hearts content,i would like to thank everybody for your kind words and donations,x

akita taz and claire huge thankyou's to you both,the ref is just eddie for making donations,we had the results from the blood test today and great news he doesnt have any liver or kidney probs or diabetis,he has however got the possibility of a brain tumour but that would mean an mri scan which is route we dont think we will go down,he has got pain relief for now,and his appetite is getting bigger every day,and today he came up stairs,thankyou all again for your kind donations for eddie.gill&eddie,xx

lesley that is very kind of you we have are trying to raise funds for his treatment via paypal s_l_a_33@hotmail.com we had a bill for £104 today which has been paid,and now raising money for ongoing treatment,we will also be looking for a foster home which will have rescue back up,but this all depends on his blood results on monday,x

He's better off without his so-called "owners", are you able to look after him. Cookie? Are you incurring big vets bills? I am happy to make a small donation, he looks so like my rescue dog who also used to belong to people who didn't want him back when found straying.

THIS IS JUST SO SAD. THIS POOR BOY NEEDS LOVE AND CARE AT HIS TIME OF LIFE AND A NICE WARM BED AT NIGHT. IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH HE IS QUITE POORLY. HOW ANYONE CAN SAY THEY DONT WANT THEIR DOG BACK BEATS ME. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AFTER HIM COOKIE.

i have taken him to the vets he is not chipped i have also knocked on the door that was on his tag,no answer so have put a note through the door spoke to neighbours who say he does live at address and he is always escaping,so he definatly lives there it seems they dont want him back as the council have sent owners a letter regarding the dog, he was put into the pound on the 22nd feb and it is now the 3rd march,why are people so cruel this poor boy poss has dimencia,liver and kidney problems cataracts and very under weight he has had blood tests today results will be back with me monday 5th march.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
