- We have asked and stressed so many times that the photo is the most important thing we can use-without photo we cannot alert local helpers! We have asked 3 times but I think the owner is too upset to get the photo across-anyone in the neighbourhood who could assist?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I wouldn't agree about them looking like jack russels, they are actually a fox terrier type specifically from the patterdale area if I remember my text book correctly, they also come in brown occasionally I believe and now there seem to be some smooth coated ones as well although I don't know if they are true patterdales, however I could be wrong and be talking gibberish, just know what our patterdales looked like when we had them and jack russell never came to mind unless you mean the parson jack russel? which is taller. Oh just ignore me the gins kicking in!!!! Dolly 6/2/05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I wouldn't want to implicate every group of travellers but have you checked any local sites to you - so many of these dogs are turning up on these sites - especially the terrier types!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just in case anyone wondered... a Nuttall Terrier is a Patterdale Terrier (it's a specific strain of the Patterdale).Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
