- Just about managing three on a walk, and bitch puppy likely to come into season soon too, so sadly unable to give in to my heart on this one.
Such a shame he wasn't Jake, that would have tied both bedlington pages up into a nice happy ending. - 2012-03-11 05:42 B30
- Thanks everyone for the updates. Hard to imagine that this gorgeous little fella hasn't been claimed but if he isn't I'm sure he'll find a good home either from kennels or Beddie rescue. Or maybe Feab!!!

- He looks very friendly, its hard to believe there isn't someone missing him. If he isn't claimed then he won't be hard to find a home for, there are two bedlington rescues in the UK and they have more people wanting dogs than they have dogs to home. They're good dogs, and don't shed hair either. Got two bedlingtons myself, and an old bedlington lurcher, so can't even think of squeezing another onto the sofa, but looking at that sad face is making me want to try. I hope someone claims him soon.

- seems unusual for a bedlington to be unclaimed, but maybe as he's entire he was used to breed and no longer wanted, hope he find's a good home

- Just to update folks - The poster we were informed about that had been seen posted by the owner was not. It was the finder who had placed them reporting the dog has found and to call the dog warden. so to date no one has come forward for this dog. And yes he is an ENTIRE MALE.

- Hi, I am Jake's owner, the lost Bedlington from Cheshire. He was last seen 2 weeks ago still wearing his collar which is a multi coloured fabric one with a suit case strap type fastener that clicks together which is orange. He also had a black collar on both had tags on. He has been castrated and his body is grey and not pink in colour under the fur. Thanks Kathryn

- A lot of people aren't aware of the correct procedures re. losts and founds - if you've been told that this has happened then have you not been told who the owner is?
