Saw Nieve on facebook and I'm so relieved she has been caught...5 months is along time to be alone, hopefully now Paula has her back she'll soon forget about this little adventure...just shows how dogs can survive on their own...stay safe now little one, one adventure is enough for a lifetime xxx

I got the call at 7.10am from Paul E Ahston-in-Makerfield with the fantastic news that Nieve had been caught - I am so chuffed for everyone. I have just spoken to the owner Paula who is understandably ecstatic and so relieved that have her back. She is currently stinking the car out on the journey home lol. Paula is going to send some photographs as soon as she gets chance.

Fantastic work by everyone involved, Paula has been overwhelmed by the help she has had from complete strangers. Paul you did an amazing job and your a star!! Well done too to Marion who first alerted us to Nieve via FB and to mumstaxi for putting her on here and setting up the FB group DOGLOST ROCKS!!!!! xxx

Wow, absolutely brilliant. Well done to the farmer. So happy for Nieve and her owners. Welcome home girl xx

Can you change her breed when she is put into blue, I'm sure when people look and see 'bedlington' they will think it is Jake...who could also be home very soon too. Fingers crossed xLast edited: 2012-03-13 12:11:19 by BBKM

Bumped now that she is in the trap, owners on the way to collect her. I will leave for a local co-ordinator to move to blue and update when she is finally reunited.

Thanks Thomasina. I have just spoken to Paul(Paul E Ahston-in-Makerfield). The owners have been in the area and he is with them. This dog is a tough cookie, acting predictably and avoiding everyone. I will try and speak to the owner at some point today, see if there is any way I can help.
