Huge credit to the owners and family support who got the word out quickly via social media and postering the area.
He was found at the top of the estate with a group of lads and recognised from the posters by a woman who got him back and contacted the owner.
the owner thrilled to have him back and says thank you to everyone and she will sleep tonight! :-)

Went for a drive round tonight after work to see if I could see Thunder. Spoke to a resident who lives just lower down from shoka shops who said his 2 whippets were playing in the fields behind the shops with a young whippet fitting Thunders description this afternoon. He thought it belonged to another dog walker. Have left him details to contact if he sees him again. Have given details of this sighting to Den to pass on to owner. Am going to poster that area in morning before I go to work.

We (scruples whippet rescue) have posted about Thunder on our facebook page and the find duchess group.. We are also forwarding info about Thunder to all our local foster carers. If we can help more then please shout x

Thunder is a puppy- just over 6 months old.Went missing from garden round the corner from home at 9.30 last night.
He is wearing a collar with word tag no phone number
owner been out searching and spreading the word.Has rung all relevant authorities.
She is going to check with Dogs Trust as well
Hoping that someone has taken this boy in for safe keeping and will respond to posters.
