Brent Animal welfare service is from 8am - 4pm Monday to friday,. after that the MOP can contact the council and will be given the contact number for our holding kennels where the dog can be taken too.

Unfortunately we did not recieve a call regarding this dog as we would have attended the site as it was within our working hours. If the dog was found within brent and we receive a call we Will attend. It does seem strange that the dog has disappeared. Police should be informed.

Another thing... do u think Sainsburys had some CCTV of the area, that may help
Maybe have a chat to the Sainsburys manager, you never know..... it may indicate who took the dog or what happened ! OR even of that dog was yours
Just a thought !

To Natala.....Personally I would ask the dog warden if they actually went to the site on that day, and see what is said . If they did go there and the dog was not there, I would go back to the Contractors site and speak to the manager of the site ( even the boss of that manager as such) Explain what has happened. Try and take a man with you as well. Take some posters with you .... also if you can offer a reward that would grease some wheels for sure. Im not saying this happened but maybe one of the contractors has taken him home with him. Also see if Busters owner remembers anything about the people she handed him to.... what they looked like/any kind of accent type of thing. Although you dont know its def your dog I would persevere quite strongly until I knew what had happened to the GSD in case it was him.
Good luck

Thank you busters owner for posting this boy up on our site & particularly for getting him to safety.,well done.I have spoken to Axel's owner(ID 37770)as this looks to be a very likely match. The council only have out of hours cover & so owners are having to wait until Monday to call back & hopefully collect.

im sorry i cant add any more info. i wish i had the time to take him to a local vet. i was running late for college trying to ensure he was safe. He was secure witha make shift lead when i left him with contractors at sainsbury alperton, they said they would remain with him until the dog warden from brent arrived. He was very nervous of men at first. Such a lovely, friendly nature. hope you find your way home soon little one xx
