I have had confirmation from Caspers owners that very sadly the dog in the fatal RTA was him. Rest in peace dear little Casper x x x

This is dreadful news :(

Caspers owners are absolutely devastated as they have had the worst possible news that Casper was involved in a fatal RTA in Wakefield Road,Ackworth 45 minutes after he slipped his collar and ran off. When they were searching for him they flagged a passing RSPCA van down and the inspector who was driving the van has made enquiries and got back to them with this awful news. This does conflict with the possible sightings of him in Hemsworth and we are waiting to confirm the deceased dog is Casper before moving him over to Rainbow Bridge.

Casper slipped his collar after a visit to the groomers and ran off in Wakefield Road Ackworth last night . Later last night there have been possible sighings of him running in the road in Hemsworth at around 7 pm. Casper had just been groomed and his owners only have photos of him with his fur longer so we are trying to find a similar photo to use as a poster photo. Can anyone local please look out for this boy. He had only been in his new home foDr 3 months and will be very nervous. Hoping he is back home very soon xLast edited: 2012-03-11 21:39:06 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
