From the finder...Sophie has been a joy to have...even gets on with his cats...I am sure the dog wardens wont traumatize the dog by putting her in kennels...as they know the owners details...so why take her to a kennels...I am sure this wont happen...if it does I would be quite shocked.

I'm sure the finder would be happy for his number to be given to the owner by the DW so they could sort it out between them. The DW is just adding to this little dogs stress. It's now going to have to spend a nIght in kennels. At least she's safe.

it all seems so unfare,it would save warden a trip and as u say save owner a fee .

Unfortunately finder cannot be given owners details and they wont pass his onto them...I know these services have to make money to operate but surely a call to the owners to put them out of distress would be a kind gesture?

Have let finder know and dog is responding to the name Sophie...a little surprised as I gave finder animal wardens number this morning and he did report her to them...they are due out to collect her but have advised finder to call know to contact owner directly else they will face a large fine...thanks Mosspage for checking...
