- Good to hear that the found Sturry dog (called Dash) has been reunited with his owners but also feeling sad for Chewie's owner who made his way down to check out the Chewie lookalike. Perhaps Chewie's page could be bumped as coming up to the second anniversary of when he went missing.

- Would anybody local be able to door knock, as the description below of where the property is by CJ sounds as though the property would be easy to identify for anyone living local? 6 acres etc...
Heres hoping the found dog is Chewie-identical I would say.
Fingers crossed x - 2015-02-16 19:09 Millys Mum
- denlyk has also tried calling Chewie's owner as well as Happiness Yorker lover texting. Do DogLost have an email address for Kirsty? The more I look at the two photos, the more I think it's Chewie,

- spoken to owner. Chewie went missing from home area which is over 6 acres aof fields paddocks also near to Hogg wood (for anyone local)
it is out of character for Chewy to go missing. On walks he is on lead along with their other dog who is blind so Chewey acts as eyes for the other dog!
there are a lot of open cespitts etc in this area- they have alerted owners as much as able to along with putting notes through doors of neighbours etc. they spent over 12 hours searching yesterday
LOCAL HELPERS please put posters around this area and spread the word as much as possible to vets etc . Thank you - 2012-03-11 11:59 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
