- I've just read this on FB! Justice should be done!! RIP xxx

- i'm heart broken with this news. i shared in all groups in faceook. the bastard of that farmer should have justice done.
i think he would be visited by a few animal rights activists and i wouldent blame them,i just hope if they did they dont get caught then i would say justice has been served on the farmer. - 2012-03-22 23:41 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- I've posted on Prudence's page, but will say the same on Rudi's. These gun thugs make me totally sick! To lose beloved dogs in tragic circumstances is awful enough but to lose them to a deliberate act of murder is beyond words. Guns will be of no use to these idiots when they are surrounded by fire and brimstone. Mind you, live by the sword, die by the sword as the saying goes. How do you cope with a loss like this? I can only pray that owners can find peace in all this knowing their beloved dogs are now safe and together forever. They will all be reunited again in heaven when the time comes. God bless. x

- OMG RIP Pru Rudi. So sad, I have tears in my eyes reading what has happened to these lovely dogs. What I have to say about these murderers I wouldn't be aloud to write on here. I send my best wishes to James and family.

- How tragic to see this. My thoughts are with the family of Prudence and Rudi. This farmer sounds like a "Trigger happy moron" and his actions are unbelievably callous to do this awful thing to two innocent dogs. Please owners try and get the police to "Fight your corner" This should be treated as a crime (Sounds like it is) At least we know that Prudence and Rudi are together and playing at the bridge, where God is watching over them until they are once again reunited with their family. You have not lost them forever. Night, night, sleep tight you two darlings. Sending your family loads and loads of comforting hugs and absent healing for their grief. God Bless. RIP Prudence and Rudi+++

- Hello Neighbark. A statement from James was already made several days ago and reconfirmed through an individual he request speak for him recently. you may find all you need in facebook under doglost norfolk and suffolk. The papers should speak with James or the police.
- 2012-03-21 12:55 Neighbark
- LADY TROJAN - can you give any more detail about 'James' confirming 'publicly' that the dogs were shot by this farmer? Is James the poor dogs owner? As for 'publicly' - does that mean the farmer has admitted to others that he shot the dogs? Can he therefore be named? Can the papers be given this story?
- 2012-03-21 12:52 Neighbark
- Thanks Helen - I hope the papers expose this bloody monster. He's dangerous. there should be warning posters put all around his land - suggesting that any loose dogs could be shot!
I SO hope you can update us and give us news that the murderer has been named publicly to all in the area (and beyond) - and has his gun licence rovoked. He CANT be allowed to kill innocent animals. Reminds me a bit of what's going on in Toulous right now. Only difference is its dogs instead of humans.

- THANKS HELEN, I HOPE THEY ARE ABLE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. IT IS JUST SO SAD.

- 2012-03-21 08:33 dewilliams42
- IS THERE POSSIBLY ANY DOUBT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. IF THE GAMEKEEPER/FARMER HAS DONE THIS HE SHOULD AT LEAST ADMIT IT SO THE OWNERS CAN HAVE PROPER CLOSURE. THIS IS JUST SO UNFAIR. COULD'NT THE POLICE SPEAK TO THEM?
- 2012-03-21 01:50 Neighbark
- Surely this should be reported to the police, to the press - enough bad publicity could result in this murderer losing his gun licence! - He may at least think twice about doing it again. Bastard.
- 2012-03-21 01:47 Neighbark
- My blood is boiling. What absolute murderous action!
Were these evil cold-blooded killers using the dogs for target practise? - do they enjoy killing beautiful dogs and causing such suffering to both dogs and their distraught owners? Maybe they just like killing...for killings sake. Bastards. I hope someone comes along and shoots them, (not their dogs tho'). They deserve all the bad publicity that can be mustered. you say it's happened before - how MANY times before? Sounds like they really are playing God and will probably make the excuse that the dogs were harrassing their livestock. I know of a fosterer who was walking her dog in Worcestershire not long ago, the dog ran thru' the hedge and was immediately shot dead by a very unfriendly farmer. He made out his sheep were worried by the dog, but in spite of the loud shot, and the lady and her husband appearing straight away (running after their dog) - the sheep were happily munching away, not at all harrassed or worried by dog, gunshot or people. so the farmer 'justified' his action. This poor dog lay very dead on the ground with the fosterers in a dreadful state. So avoid just over the common as you leave Tenbury Wells - there's another jingoistic farmer enjoying target practise!!!!! - 2012-03-21 00:12 digbysmum

- Her we go again!!! Farmers and Gamekeepers leave me cold. They could at least tell the owners the truth and let them have their dogs bodies back.
- 2012-03-20 18:46 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Poor Rudi and Prudence were shot by either the gamekeepers or a farmer. Although their bodies have not been recovered, The owner's feel sure this is the case. He also thanks you all for your effort & support.
