- Esmee has been FOUND. She is now home having a bath as she is a little smelly but she's fine !
Well done Sally you worked so hard on this. I look forward to hearing all about it once you've all had a good night's sleep !
WELCOME HOME gorgeous girl. XX - 2012-03-24 08:37 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- Thanks Teddys mum - yes you are right about triangles and owners is aware- scenting and plotting are both being used.
Both names are being used with emphasis on the ending of the names both being ''eeee' sound'so both sounding similar.
The doglost trap held by ashford DW is now being set so hoping that with more bait she will go in. Already the owner has put food inside a normal crate- this is going and could be Esmee or a fox but if Esmee she is getting used to entering a small enclosure so more likely to go in a trap.
Fingers crossed for success soon. CJ - 2012-03-21 19:15 appy831
- Hi i knew this dog when she was with in her foster home and then she was called shelly, her name had only just been changed to esmee so maybe calling her by the name of shelly would help her come to someone. hope she comes home soon

- Hi- I was out in Denge this pm and saw your posters, I also had a potter round the lanes around Mystole on my way back in the car, but from the sounds of it she's more likely the other side of the A28 still. I know you say she is timid but would she be likely to approach another dog. I'm happy to take mine to any spots that she may be, if you think it might make her break cover? Good luck, will continue to keep an eye out and I hope she stays safe.

- So glad she has been seen again. You may have aleady been told this (sorry if you have) but dogs out running usually move in a triangle. If you plot her sightings on a map you will be able to see it. It will be within this areas she is travelling. If you match sightings with timings you can actually be somewhere ahead of her. Dusk and dawn are best. Good luck, I do so hope you have her home soon.

- Well done sallyly. You are working so hard to get your girl home. I've seen all the posters & boards that are going up in the area, on Facebook & your time out there scenting, tracking & searching, nobody could have done more. Esmee is out there & staying in the area by the sounds of it,this is a good sign.I'm hoping this last potential sighting was her & slowly but surely you'll get her back to you. XX

- Thank you everyone for all the support, Especially Stef. HAve been out tonight BBQ ing sausages and fish tonight in the area of sightings, im feeling much more encouraged as she has now returned to the original sighting area- also from where we BBQ'd followed a friend back down the road, i was behind them by about 90 secs, when i got round a corner, they had stopped, something had fled across the road, from side we'd being BBQing on, and they werent sure if it could have been her!!

- Bumping - Sightings today from Esmee's owner : Esmee was at Bigberry ( about 1mile a crow flies) raced over there, when nearly there another man called to say she was back on Hatch Lane ( the road near house- but a railway line and Main road in between us, went back over, she had vanished, when i then stopped a man who had seen her, and another call from a man who had seen her in that vicinity earlier today, and it is the location she was spotted in last thursday, so fingers crossed we are getting closer!!!

- Esmee has been sighted in the field near her home. This is very near a main road so owner is going to lay food & scent in field away from road to keep her in that area rather than crossing road again.

- Email on how lost and areas postered...............
Esmee was in my garden at CT4 , when a gas gun went off from the other side of the railway and it spooked her, just went. because she is a new dog she doesnt know the area.
As you look at Chartham Station on a map, we have postered within the area from wincheap, up inside the a2, to brenley corner, along the a251 to challock, down the a252 to chilham, along the a28 to chartham. All areas within that boundary have been postered, as have the villages of Chartham, up pennypot lane, waltham, wye, Crundale, lyminge, garlinge green, stelling minnis,
Signs are up and my mum owns Chilham feeds just along the road from the traveller site- they are her customers and she has had a word with them, Also a the local dog 'breeders' are aware thanks to mum making sure every single customer reads the poster!!
Thank you for your help

Keep postering and searching, she will be out there probably low to the ground hiding if she was scared. Contact local radio if possible to see if they will broadcast for you. Good Luck
