Just thought I'd point out that Patch's owner mentioned going to see the remains of this poor dog for the first time on 25.3.12 which is now over two weeks ago.

That might eliminate the possibility of it being cetain dogs that people are looking for, such as your friends tribalclaire, if they went missing more recently.

Sorry! Have now seen that the date it was found was even earlier than that.

Flaggbag and me found this poor dog last night, It was very easy to find as Beebs info was spot on. We spent a lot of time with the remains working out size and type. We know its defo not Patch. The hair we found was all black, with some tan . The head was small and pointy and a long tail, maybe a small lurcher. Rest in peace litle person XLast edited: 2012-04-13 20:21:33 by Mollychops

I have spoken with the DW, the body is quite decomposed I'm afraid and the DW was unable to scan it due to its location. If anybody wishes to look for peace of mind exact location is as follows.. from haresfield to harescombe, turn right at the green triangle (covered in daffodils) just as you pass the sign with Harescombe on there is a fallen dead tree, the body is just behind this in a ditch. It is a terrier cross type dog but no other details due to the state the poor soul is inLast edited: 2012-03-19 10:22:36 by Beebs

Hi I'm so sorry for the delay, I'm trying my best to find out more. Due to data protection I cannot give details of who has reported the poor dog but I am trying to get hold of the person to find out more. The only good news is our contractors could not find the body this means it may be still there. Please ring me if you feel this may be your friends dog. I'm not available tonight but i am from 7am tommorow
