- There is lots of people working on this from a Tibby group, emailing far and wide to everywhere you can imagine, they are doing a brilliant job but please keep looking...maybe who ever has her will take her back there for a walk?!

- I walk here daily, I have had a good look all round from day one and two of my dogs are off lead and inquisitive, nothing. Up until this morning there were insufficient posters, but more have been put up now so I hope more people are aware. There are thousands of people using this area over a week. Have all wardens/rescues etc been checked again since the confusion with her breed ?
Owl, very few ditches where she was lost and have had a look through the ones near the car park, I don't think she would have wandered far from her normal walk. Apparently, according to the local paper, she was being walked with 'her pack'- 2 other spaniels and two independent witnesses saw a small black dog with a couple who said it was a lost dog...! - 2012-03-23 16:50 Flojo
- I walk here several times a week so will have a good search, if someone had picked inky up why would they take her to the police if she was tagged? sounds a bit odd!?

- Please can searchers look in dips and ditches, even shallow ones, in case she has fallen into one and can't climb out.

- I have just come back from an hour & an half walk searching for poor Inky. I only met 2 people (horse riders) who were aware of a lost dog as they had had an email from NFDOG (thanks NFDOG) but they were keeping their eyes open for a TT as that is what we were first told. When I returned to the CP I went in search of posters. Eventually I found just one, barely attached to a notice board. Can Admin please contact the owner and let her know how vital it is to widely poster. There were about 100 cars there in the time I was there today and I would estimate 1000+ over the weekend. The visitors get out of their cars and walk, not go to look at the notice board. The posters need to be visible on all 3 Wilvery CP entrances and the Longslade ones and clear when drivers arrive and when they park. Wilverly CP is long and needs posters stapled to the poo bins, toilets, etc. Even the ice cream man hadn't been told about Inky. It was lovely there today. Could someone sit at the CP entrance & give handouts to walkers, especially those with dogs? It is too far for me to go every day but I will go back. However, the owner & carer must be near enough to get more posters out to get poor INKY back home.We have all learned the power of posters. Good luck.I am losing sleep over this poor dog.

- Have made some calls to people involved and it seems that the photo is correct and that INKY is a Tibetan Spaniel. Stay safe little one. It is very cold out on the forest at night for such an eldery and confused lady. Could someone amend the breed please?

- I should have said the photo on their poster is the extra image shot, not the one on the DL poster.

- The posters I've seen describe Inky as small like a Pekingese, but do say Tibetan Terrier. Photo is the same as on the doglost poster but isn't a DL poster. I walked through the inclosure and around the car park by Wilverley Plain this evening, saw several posters and still a few dog walkers around. No sign of Inky but loads of places where she could hide up. Apparently she walks there every day so would certainly know the area; she's such a little girl and described as elderly, I would expect her to stay around the car park. Many dog walkers get there, especially at weekends but lots would have been there on Thursday as well. My gut feeling is she's been picked up, but it's a bit worrying she hasn't come to light by now. Owner has reported to dog warden and local vets, I didn't think to mention to her about the out of hours kennels but dog warden would know about that. Come on Inky, your Mum needs you back home.

- Yes. Please could you confirm if the photo is Inky as the photo is definitely of a Tibetan Spaniel. I am happy to go & walk my dogs there tomorrow (Sunday). T.Ts are unlikely to be described as black & tan.

- The poster picture is of a Tibetan SPANIEL not terrier, they are totaly different breeds.

- Have contacted the owner this morning. She says Inky was around the main car park area when they left the car for their walk, they assumed she was following and then subsequently realised she wasn't with them. They were later told that someone had put what was thought to be a lost dog into their car, to hopefully report it??? My partner is out there with our dogs this morning and I have texted him this info. I will go out myself this afternoon; family are doing posters for the area today. Hope Inky is soon found and back home where she belongs.

- just seen my typo - Lyndhurst side is SO41. Carole
- 2012-03-16 21:59 BonBon
- SO42 could be correct if it is the Brockenhurst & Burley side of Wilverley Plain. If it is the Lyndhurst side, then it would probably be SO42. Not sure this helps!
