- Well said SUZIE could not agree more. Its about time that doglost.co.uk was recognised as THE National Organisation for missing, found and reunited dogs.

- I am so pleased to see that Lady is back home, but it could have ended so differently! Is there any reason why the RSPCA can't advertise all their 'stray' dogs on dog lost before putting them up for re homing? It would save such a lot of unnecessary heartache for all concerned, and would be so simple to do!! I shudder to think how close this family came to losing Lady forever, for the sake of a small amount of admin on the part of the RSPCA. It would benefit them to work with DOGLOST as it would free up their time and resources to find homes for genuine strays as opposed to re homing dogs who have loving, grief stricken owners out there looking for them.

Description: GEMMA ( MARCH 172 )
Gemma is a 5-6 year old mongrel female who is looking for a loving new home can you help? While in the kennels the staff have found Gemma to be a quiet sweet natured little girl who we feel would best suit a quiet house hold . Gemma loves nothing more then to sit in her bed and watch the world go by. We feel Gemma is suitable to be re homed with a first time dog owner and older children. For more information please contact our office thank you

- LADY is back HOME with her family. WOO HOO
Met up with her mum and other family members at the kennels this morning. Lady is gorgeous and was so pleased to see them. It was great to see them back together and would love to witness the reunion with Tia their Rottie and other family members who have missed her so much.
The family do not have transport and have to get taxis to visit the kennels, they did actually go there on the day she was taken in but she must have been in the holding block where they go first when getting booked in and checked over.
THANK YOU to everyone who has helped look out for her and spread the word. Now that I’ve seen Lady she is a Collie Cross.
REUNITED photo taken outside the RSPCA. THANK YOU to the RSPCA for the telephone calls to family and myself. Staff were so happy to see her reunited with her family. THANKS also to the family who were going to adopt Lady and we are sure you will find another dog who needs a loving home.
A massive WELCOME HOME Lady and into the BLUE you go, sending you and your family lots of hugs and cuddles. Thanks so much for the card, flowers and chocolates greatly appreciated :) xxx

- Back home now. RSPCA staff rang owner's while I was in the kennels and family are going tomorrow as they do not have transport. I am convinced it is her and will be sending pics to family a.s.a.p. when uploaded from phone. She has been in the kennels since 29.03.12 and has a reserve on her, just waiting for the home checks etc to clear. The RSPCA are really good when they rehome and like new family to visit the dogs a few times before they let them go home. She was due out on 6.04.12.
Lady's family will be getting her CHIPPED tomorrow before she goes home, they did get their Rottie CHIPPED when she was also taken to Halewood RSPCA. x - 2012-04-09 16:41 Coco Pops
- Yes :-) Jan you're right. I just looked on the Halewood RSPCA site. It's Gemma (March 172).

Please look out for Lady. x - 2012-03-20 10:18 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- I was alerted to Tia and Lady missing by Liverpool Dog Rescue. Contacted owner and advised they were registered on DL and to contact Halewood RSPCA and Leigh Cats & Dogs Home. Great news Lady was in Halewood RSPCA kennels and has been collected. Have great pleasure in moving Lady into the BLUE, welcome home.
Tia is still missing, have requested a photo a.s.a.p. x
