- Owners said she was up for rehoming. I hope it is true. I offered to raise money but it was too late. We may not know the whole story, so there may been more reasons i.e. long term welfare, care and costs etc. But I really don't know. :-(

- Kimmybear has she got a rescue place then or is she still in danger in the pound?
How horrible for the owners after finding her, shows the importance of a microchip evenmore, this happens to so many people and particularly with staffys so many are put to sleep as their owners cannot afford to get them back seems ridiculous to me
There needs to be some kind of loan fund in which people can borrow the money to pay off the pound fee and pay back in installments, maybe a further venture for doglost? haha

- Spoken to owner. Sadly, they have had to give Ozzie up for rehoming. They didn't want to but could not afford the fee. Very sad. I have advised that in the future more fees would be needed i.e. vets bills etc, so maybe it was better to do this now rather than later if still in same situation, although I can't help but feel bad that this has happened. They said it is too late to raise money now as she has been signed over. If this girl gets a good home, then owners have done the right thing - still so very sad for all concerned. And as Shell says, already a lot of dogs in kennels wanting homes. Hoping they will all be okay. I'm sure they will. x

- Oh my goodness! Well done Shell. Yes, they should come to an arrangement. If not please could you let me know? Thank you. You can e-mail me via Admin if there is still a problem. I am not going to reunite, till this baby is home. x

- Soz for the delay it seems yes this is indeed their dog in the pound. But owners are having problems with finding the kennel fee :-( have advised to contact the council etc see if arrangements can be made. Such a shame there are to many staffs in rescue when there is a forever home already :-( x
