So pleased that lovely Sam is safely back home with his family, where he belongs. I am sure that this was just a malicious act by some low life scum. Thank goodness he was rescued by that lovely couple. Welcome home Sam - stay safe now xx

We dont know any more than you do...I was emailed the articleby a helper so put on site...at least we know the dog is safe and back...and with so many new dogs coming in everyday that need our help...then we have to move on and help them...yes I am ...as indeed everyone is curious as to the report...but at the end of the day other dogs need our help...I could spend hours tomorrow asking questions or I could be putting missing dogs on site...Now I think thats the better option...as once missing dogs are on doglost they then increase their chances of getting back 100 fold...with all your help.

So pleased Sam is now home safe with his family. I have just read the Sunderland Echo article.... all i can say is give me 10 minutes in a room with the sick vile scum who did this...i can't say on here what i would be doing to them while they were in that room...so angry...

Not the lead he went missing with, which he could probably have bitten through if he had to, but a chain one. Looks like the wrong person got hold of the 18 ft training lead he was trailing. I expect the newspaper went to press before the news that his rightful owners had been found.

Sam is still missing and there has been no news of him apart from the possible sightings of him in the Horden area on Sunday . When he ran off he had an 18 foot training leash attached. His owners had got him from Felkirk in Scotland about 5 weeks ago and they wonder if he may be trying to make his way back there. His owners say they are doing everything possible to find him and I hope he is found very soon xx Last edited: 2012-03-28 21:45:36 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
