- Shame shame shame on the driver who drove off not even knowing how Sam was...lovely taxi driver to pick him up and take him to the vets...welcome home Sam...I just wish that people close gates and doors after them when they deliver or clean windows, our's regulary get left open even though we have a sign on saying to close it because of the dogs....xxx

- What a relief Sam is going to be ok x
Awful that somebody could hit a dog and just drive off.
Well done to the taxi driver. You're a star xx - 2012-03-26 12:12 AlisonH
- So pleased Sam is safe. I'm sure he will make a full recovery with some tlc. A BIG THANK YOU to the lovely taxi driver who took care of Sam in his hour of need and shame on the hit and run driver who just left him lying there.

- Sam has been found!! :) He was brought into our local vets after being hit by a car at 2am on saturday morning. Apparently he was hit so hard he went up into the air and over the bonnet of the car. The driver drove off straight away but luckily Sam was picked up by a very kindly taxi driver, who having witnessed the whole incident, took him straight to the local vets. Miraculously nothing is broken and he has only got some cuts and bruising!! We have just been to identify him and he is up and walking about and wagging his tail! He seemed just as relieved to see us as we did him!! The vets are keeping him in under observation for the day but all being well we should be able to pick him up at 4pm!!! A BIG BIG THANK YOU to everyone for all of your help and support. We are so grateful to you all :)

- Might put minds at ease a little bit to know that we drove along the A1066 from Thetford to Diss yesterday afternoon and didn't see anything, so at least he's not running around on the main road!
