I was unable to post yesterday but wanted to say a huge thank you to mumstaxi and mymoggy. On Wednesday evening I received a message from mumstaxi telling me that she had been informed that a dog had been seen on the M55 (Preston end, over 10 miles away)and that it had been involved in an RTA. At this point we had very few details but on reading the message from mymoggy about where Luna had last been seen we feared the worst. Thursday morning I rang mymoggy who had been liaising with Luna's family and she made further local enquiries and contacted Luna's family. It was confirmed it was Luna :(

Thank you also to the lady who saw Luna and made sure that her family had closure for their little girl.

So sad that Luna didn't make it home and my thoughts are with her family. Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweet girl xxx

Oh poor little girl Ive just gone on the MT website and saw this little one was missing so I checked on here and saw the very sad news. My thoughts are with you all until you meet again x

Hi Lizzy. Yes ,Luna is a rescue dog from Many Tears.

Have asked owner to come here and update.. but last reports were from last night when Luna was spotted crossing the M55 slip road heading towards caravan sites... Pipers Heights and Division Lane areas.. going that way she could end up on the back road to Preston
