Eventually got hold of owner again...she hasn't postered - thought it was too late to be worth postering- I've urged her to do this, and to add reward to the poster - and mention that Tiny will not survive another pregnancy unless she has a c.z. She has now rung Jayne, who's added reward to the poster, I've offered to help - but hopefully owner now gets cracking with postering and gets this little doggie back where she belongs.

if there's traveller's site nearby it's probably worth visiting, but suggest she takes a man as they'll get more respect there and talk to the older travellers just a friendly approach and maybe mention a reward for her return. although they do usually seem to go for terrier types or lurchers more, if they have tiny it will just be to sell on
are there any dodgy car boot sales/markets in the area? small dogs are often sold there so worth checking and postering
it's also worth trawling through ads on the internet (im not in the area but i'll do this) as someone may try and sell her that way

Just spoken to Emma the owner. She's now going to get posters going. Have gone thru' what to do and she's going to phone dog wardens, rescue's and get a CRN as she's positive that Tiny was stolen.
Tiny has a large C.Z scar, AND ANOTHER LITTER WILL DEFINITLY KILL Tiny. I'll start postering straight away, but is there anyone else locally who could also help as it's now 3 days since she disappeared.
Sadly there are travellers sites all around where the owner lives. Owner very disheartened she won't see little Tiny again - I hope my chat has put the fire back in her belly....

I've just rung the 2nd number listed - (as first number permanently engaged). The lady I spoke to is the owner's daughter and knew absolutely NOTHING about the dog having gone missing!
I urged the daughter to poster There ARE a number of 'known' travellers sites in this area, and I have witnessed travellers going into a horse shop purely to look at posters for missing dogs, so its really important to poster. Another small dog went missing on Hartlebury common last week,- same area (on Doglost), also a stones throw from travellers site

Spoke to owner, she had some friends over and she thinks Tiny slipped out of the door when they went. Owner has phoned out of hours DW but no news at present. She will contact vets tomorrow. She has her on facebook and she will also poster asap. owner has a few travellers close by and she is worried they may have her. Advised her to contact traveller liaison officer.

Sorry to see that TINY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (38352)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
