Fantastic!!! Ty's owners have worked so hard to find him.

Spoke to owner a minute ago and Tye is in the car on his way home. He was really pleased to see them and jumped all over them.

As you say Claire very sad for the people who thought they had him legally, but glad they have seen the right path to go. Mel you have worked endlessly and your care and compassion for your friend has been amazing. Also to every one that has been involved.............sooooo pleased xxx

Great news. Possibly sad for the family that had "adopted" him probably through no fault of their own. But always good to see a dog reunited with its proper owners. Stay safe and no more escaping from the garden. xx

Ty was found in Hampshire. Owner received a call from a vet today when someone tried to microchip him. He has been there since last July. Owner is on his way down there now to fetch him xx

Found on Animal search UK... Found on Wed 9th Jan 2013 (1 week 4 days)
Found dog in Walsall, West Midlands, United Kingdom, WS2 0DL. Dog was an Akita type dog. Very large. Looked quite slim and dirty so could have been missing for a while. However it seemed quite confidant until a loud noise startled it.

I don't know the area but on the map there was a pin point to Black Country Route? I know it says Akita but not everyone knows their dogs...

Hi, there's a husky advertised on gumtree yesterday in Cheslyn Hay area. Looks similar to Ty. I'm no expert on huskys but please have a look! Ad number 110848191. It's coming up under stoke on Trent but I know Cheslyn hay is Walsall way. Fingers crossed x

Husky found in Birmingham B32 - registered in the National pet register site yesterday - photo not great but could be TY:

"A young husky looking breed, male light brown and cream markings with pale brown eyes. Beautiful dog, very friendly. Was found wandering in the road on Cramlington Road in Great Barr at around 7pm. I knocked on several doors up and down the road but unfortunately no one recognised him."

Yes Sioux but when enquiries were made the owner was told that the dog had been sold and unfortunately the police have been unhelpful in looking into this any further.

Spoke to owner, there have been some sightings of him but at 9-10pm on a piece of wasteland about 5 mins from home. Owner has been putting his kibble down and there is also a chip shop not too far away, where he may go to for food. Ty does not know his way home from there as he was walked the other way or taken out in the car. I will send scenting instructions to owner and we will see if this brings him home.

I saw this on the dog warden site a few minutes ago. It does seem quite a long way away from where he went missing but suppose it's possible. Hate to get hopes up unnecessarily.

Spoke to owner, Ty managed to get out of the back garden. There has been somebody phone who says they have seen a lady with 2 Huskies who normally only has one. Owner is going to check this out. I have advised him to contact Highways Agency as he lives near th M6. He has contacted Dw etc.
