- Theres a collie cross been found in Newcastle (I dont think it is Buffy) as this dog looks darker, having said that it also looks quite wet and dirty so thought it may be worth owners having a look at the link just incase xx

- It is now over two months since this old lady went missing and sadly we have apparantely heard nothing? how very sad....I look everyday hoping that someone has something to say. We have had some awful weather since April, is it too much to hope that she is still alive somewhere?

- Spoken to owners- sadly no news of Buffy yet.
Owners are hoping a lost advert they have put in the local paper may bring some news.
Suggested they try for a newspaper appeal.
Owners are really grateful for the tracking work from Owl and Wispa.
Really hope there is some news on this girl soon

- Buffy escaped from Bradley Quarry Close. I have just got back from searching with my dog. Owners are offline until they can get their modem replaced on Tuesday. If you would like to help, please call or text the number above. Wispa got a good scent from home out to a main road then through an alleyway which is not one that Buffy has ever been walked through. But then the trail led out to open ground and fields, and that is an area she has known for the 16 years of her life. It went all the way down to the canal, another regular walking place. The scent was hard to follow as it criss crossed all over the place, but it seemed to end up in the woods along the canal towpath. I think it would be a good idea to poster along the towpath.

- just picked up the details of this lovely old girl. Is there any further news?
I am the other side of town in Linthwaite and don't know the Bradley area at all, however I am willing to help in any way I can if a search is organised. I can also poster Linthwaite if it will help. - 2012-04-06 18:58 fraggle
- I'm very close to here and have a lot of friends in the area, including at the campsite.I've forwarded it around them and on facebook but have no access to a printer at home. If there's a plan to search the area I'm happy to help and I'm sure I could rustle up a few more. More details on whereabouts in Bradley would help.

- I live far away from here but know the area well, there's quite a few large rivers and woodland, also the huge golf course, what kind of area did she go missing from? as this should dictate the kind of searching helpers do

- Have spoken to owner. Buffy went missing in the early hours of Wednesday morning (4th April) In the stormy weather the gate had blown open when she went out to the toilet.
owners spent between 3 and 8 in the morning out searching for her but saw no sign of her.
They have contacted all relevant authorities including microchip company.
They are going to send a photo of her.
Have advised on trying to get some media coverage to spread the word.
They will poster the area and have already put signs up in locals shops.
Hoping that someone has taken this old girl in for safe keeping

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
