- Hello Hattie. Glad he is still around who owns the fields, do you know as they could maybe help and are they fenced at all. So sad he is so scared and won't come but I do agree with putting feed and a blanket out as this will encourage him to stay in the same area and then maybe a trap could be put there. I do have a large dog crate but it won't shut on its own but you would be welcome to borrow it, maybe cover it with a blanket and put food in it so he gets used to going into it for meals. My mobile no. is 07896 230242 please do call if you would like the crate or if there is anything else I can do to help you. With all good wishes for a successful outcome. Julie

- Hattie if he is in a particular are you need to encourage hime to stay there by feeding - make an area if you can with a blanket from home or a bed he has used and put food there a couple of times a day and watch from a distance. Dont call his name. If you see him crouch donw low and turn your back on him anything else and he will run. When a feeding pattern is established you could look into setting a trap for him. Read Jamie (KT13) story on the reuniated pages - on the run for 2 months before we caught himLast edited: 2012-04-08 19:09:35 by PaulaK

- Hi Julie, thanks for offer, lost Brando in woods off Colwell Lane. We have spotted him several times in the fields, the problem is he won't come to either people or dogs. We saw him this morning, called his name and he stopped, looked at us and then took flight. Even though we have fostered him for a month he remained highly anxious, hence walking him on the lead, unfortunately he got spooked and yanked the lead out of my hand and took flight, luckily his lead is now off but he still has his collar. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

- I live on the common at North Chailey and will keep a close eye out for Brando. If you could let me know the specific location he disappeared from I will gladly go and walk there with one of my dogs. Is Brando dog friendly would he come out from hiding to another dog rather than a human ? Hope he is found soon. Julie

- He won't go far he will hide. I fostered Rio from Skiathos and he ran if when something spooked him. He wasn't far, but wouldn't come out with all the strangers around calling him. Rio was worse than Brando. When I went back to area and called Rio at 1am, he came out immediately! Flexi lead hopefully won't have got caught on anything. Not the first dog to pull one of these out of persons grip. I hate them. Exactly the same happened to Molly from Halkidiki. She ran off with the clatter of the handle making her run more. She hid for three days until children noticed her hiding! Think it will be when it's quiet and just caters there you might hear him?
