- My prayers are with Joe`s family; my heart goes out to you. At least you have closure and can lay him to rest. Some comfort to know you will be reunited with your boy at the bridge. Night, night sweetheart, sleep tight; He is still around you, and always will be. Sending your family hugs and healing thoughts for your sorrow. God Bless Joe and family RIP+++

- I have spoken to the owners and Joe escaped through a gap under the fence. They have contacted the vets, dog wardens and some rescue kennels. I have given them the number of a large dog pound in the area and told them to contact Lincs FM. Posters have been made up and are being printed off. Owner has been out searching and has checked the ditches and hedge bottoms.

- I know this area well as I used to go to the dog club there at the village hall. Owners do go to the village hall tonight around 7.30pm as there is a dog club for all the locals and take some flyers - the people are all local and will walk the area with their own dogs so will be a great help to you.
